Direct Support Provider:

The Direct Support Provider (DSP) position follows the Arizona Vision and 12 Principles of the Children's System of Care. DSP's provide treatment that is goal orientated promoting consumer dignity, independence, and respect. Some goals include improving social skills, self- care and independent living skills. The DSP will recognize symptoms of mental disorders, personality disorders or substance abuse and respect cultural differences within the family environment. DSP's provide therapeutic services while coordinating social and recreational activities for the youth and connect their families with community resources. Experience for the Direct Support Provider position should include but are not limited to aggressive behaviors, autism spectrum disorder, challenging home environments, and/or substance abuse.

We currently have Direct Support Provider positions for Behavior Coaching, Mentoring, and in the Residential Programs (Respite and Therapeutic Group Home).

The following requirements must be met prior to joining the New Hope of Arizona, Inc. employment team.

  1. Age requirement is Twenty-one (21) years or older.
  2. Current resume should include recent job positions related to the Behavioral Health field.
  3. An approved Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  4. TB test results within the past one year.
  5. First Aid and CPR must be current and include child and infant.
  6. Proof of Education.
  7. Valid Driver License.
  8. Current Auto Insurance.
  9. Thirty-nine (39) Month Uncertified Motor Vehicle Record.
